Our History

In 1995, EFG established its presence in Zurich, followed by the introduction of the EFG brand in 1997. Recognizing the wealth opportunity across diverse geographies, EFG expanded internationally, setting up operations in Miami in 1996, and in Hong Kong and Singapore in 2000. In 2016, EFG made a significant move by acquiring the Lugano-based Swiss private bank BSI.
